No Vita version for MLB 16 - cross saving still available?

So we now have confirmation that there will be no Vita version of MLB 16 - https://twitter.com/MLBTheShow/statu...43138522112000 Since this is my main gaming device, at least for The Show, what I want to know now is if MLB 15 on the Vita will work with cross saving with MLB 16 on the PS4 (then at least we can still use the Vita). Anyone hear anything on this?

You'd have to upload it to the cloud from the Vita, and then download it to MLB 15 PS4 first. And then you can import it into 16 when that happens. But you won't be able to go back and forth from 15 Vita to 16 PS4 ... if that makes sense.

Yes, that does make sense. A PIA to be sure, but if I am playing several games on the Vita at a time, it is probably worth the hassle. Thanks!

They should keep the servers for 15 open for those that want to keep playing on the Vita.

Still never understood why the files were cloud-based only. Should have been a way to transfer the files independent of the game's online service.

This seems like a good workaround but have they confirmed that the won't be able to do cross-save directly from 15 Vita to 16 PS4?

Don't scoff, even Microsoft has stuff on iOS, and the massive user base in undeniable. A lot of potential customers out there.

I'm disappointed in hearing this for this reason a couple reasons.

1. I play CPU vs CPU every game for every team on the PS4 mostly except for below, but use the Vita to do my excel spreadsheets for every 90 man team roster so I can keep track of performance and contracts. I upload the PS4 to the cloud and use the Vita to track season progress.

2. I'm in the military and we sometimes have to go away for weeks/months and the Vita is a great way to keep my season going and upload back into the cloud to update on the PS4 when I get back home. We're not always in places to bring my flat screen and PS4 obviously.

3. SCEA if there is anyway to use the Vita with 16 I personally would be very thankful.
