There used to be an option to turn off the HR celebration camera completely, however that was removed in 2015 for some reason.

I hope to God that they are able to put in the option to turn if off in 2016.

I love the cam that shows the no doubt homers. When I see it I get pumped up and usually flip my controller in celebration.

I don't like the HR cam, put the option back in the game to turn it on or off and that makes everyone happy, I don't understand why the option was removed in the first place.

My opinion...

Give us the option to completely turn it off. This game has a great TV style broadcast and then out of nowhere you see a weird cut scene that you've never seen on TV before go to a weird camera view for a no doubt HR. It's out on context in a broadcast style format and makes the game feel less of baseball simulation. It takes the fun out of seeing the ball go into the stands and the thrill out of not knowing if it's going out of the yard or not.

100% agree with this. I think if we could turn it off, it would feel much more like a real broadcast.

I dig it for no doubt blasts of 420 ft+ but with the average length homers the camera feels unwarranted. I wouldnt mind if they changed the outfielders animations on some of the closer homeruns so it would be a little more suspenseful.
