Is PBR just for the dug outs or all other parts of the stadiums too?

I think PBR will finally make MLB The Show look like a true next gen PS4 game! I am not saying MLB 15 The Show looks bad but it does kind of still have that PS3 look if you know what I mean.

Ramone, I know this is a very small detail but could you give me any information on if behind home plate at Turner Field has changed at all? Especially the ad boards?

I believe everything... Stadiums, fields, players, equipment, etc.

but seriously, he did talk about it in the reveal walk through vid, it sounded like their goal was to have all surfaces using PBR. In the reveal trailer they just had one dugout shot where it was turned on. I'm thinking they are saving what they've got cooking for a dev stream...

Damn I love our little community...no where else do you have direct instant contact with developers and designers. I'm pretty sure if there were credits at the end of MLB the show, it would say....and a special thanks to all the OSers.

What I said in another thread, yes I'm quoting myself

We will go much deeper into PBR later in the cycle can't really do a deep dive in an 6 minute video. But it was only turned on in the dugout because "game development" and that trailer had to be finished a week before PSX. As I've said in the past our game visually will move along the same path as PS3 did where it took us about 4 years to reach visually maturity. I'm not saying it will be in year 4 where on PS4, nor am I saying it will happen in year 3 either. We simply don't have the time and resources to do everything in year 1 or year 2 for that matter. Every year is a new layer and this year it's PBR last year was Seasonal Sun/Shadows. Etc..... Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is The Show.

Agreed. Long time Show supporter...but I just put in 15 again and played for a bit. It is showing its age graphically. And yes, the inevitable comparisons to other PS4 nextgen titles is inevitable. I do hope it takes a big leap graphically this year...it is a great game for sure, but it needs to catch up with nextgen graphics. It appears a bit cartoonish in comparison.
