Funny, I ordered this exact one off Amazon yesterday before I even saw any of the recent posts in this thread (though I got the 3-port one, since I didn't need 5 ports). Incidentally, I also pre-ordered MLB '16, since that 11 dollar savings was too good to pass up.

Good to hear I won't have any problems with the switch! Thanks for the feedback.

I got a Rocket Fist 4 port HDMI switch and it works perfect. No lag, and its just like you were plugged into the TV. Even supports 3-D and has a remote if you are lazy like me!

No brainer, but I have one concern: display lag. Baseball being what it is, I'm worried the switch will increase lag time on my tv and mess with my hitting timing. That's why I'm asking this here: has anyone had experience using an hdmi switch? I want to hear exclusively from The Show players because this is the only game I play. If the switch adds noticeable lag while batting, I don't want it.

So has anyone here used one? What were your experiences?

Any insight or advice is appreciated. Thanks!
I bought one on Amazon for $39 as I have the same issue. Now I have my Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 all on the switcher and I see absolutely no lag whatsoever. Might be one of the best things I ever bought as a very active gamer.

Re: Anyone have any experience using an HDMI switch?

Sorry to bump a 2 year old thread, but I was about to start a new thread about this topic when I saw this thread.

I'm thinking about buying a HDMI Switch to try to possibly move more systems into one gaming area. I would be hooking up the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 3, and SNES Classic at this point.

I've heard people say that sometimes systems will turn off automatically when using a HDMI switch. Has anyone experienced that here?

This is the one I'm looking at as I don't want to spend a lot of money as this is only for convenience and not out of necessity.

EDIT: Sorry I had no idea that this was in the Show forum. I just saw the thread title and jumped in. Please move to a more appropriate forum mods if need be.

I use this one (tad more expensive at 50.00) and have had zero issues. Right now I only have my PS4 and 4K Player hooked to it.

I've used this one without any issue with 4K/HDR:

I'm a cheapskate so I got an HDMI switch from ebay for like $4 about three years ago. It worked great for the first two to three months, but then it started having issues. The system itself wouldn't turn off, but I would lose the picture and the lights on the switch would just blink off and on as if it couldn't find the signal. The only way to fix it was to turn on another one of the consoles I had connected to it so it would switch to that one, and then I'd have to manually switch back to the console I was playing and it would work again. Then I'd turn the other console off. I actually dealt with this for like a year!

Then I decided enough was enough and just got this one from Amazon:

                        https://www.amazon.com/Switch-GANA-S...ds=hdmi+switch

It has worked perfectly until this day.

I have one and it doesn't add any lag, only problem with it is you have to power cycle it once and awhile.

Recently got one when I got the Xbox One X since only my HDMI 1 does 4K and all the other jazz to make it look the best, and I've played The Show 17 on it multiple times and noticed no lag at all. If there is any change between just having it plugged into the TV then it's not noticeable at all.
