New 2016 Jerseys

[Houston]

Today at FanFest, the Astros unveiled a new alternate jersey that will be worn for all Sunday homes games at Minute Maid Park. The side panels of the jersey feature the original pattern of the iconic Astros “rainbow” uniform worn from 1975-1986. This jersey will be worn with a new hat that has an orange crown and a blue visor. The new jersey design maintains the consistency of the Astros brand while embracing the history of the franchise.

With the ridiculous decision to not add any more jersey slots into the game this year, these might not be in.

Adding more jersey slots to 16 was never in the plans.

Basically the same jersey they already wear on Sunday home games. They just wrote out Astros instead of using the star logo.

Well not having it in the plans at all is an even worse decision then, seeing as there were multiple jerseys missing from last years game, and there will be presumably more jerseys missing this year.

This is only sports game missing jerseys part of a teams uniform rotation.

That Jersey is ok but those team colors up the side... looks like spring training/BP Jersey (which it pretty much is)
Thumbs down to these in general even if they wouldve made it in.

Why not??.....

Other features, new tools and new tech took president. I wish it was as simple as add more slots but it's not. Our jerseys are extremely hi rez and their file sizes are rather large. Even with all the optimization and compression that's done now they are still huge. Once we solve the file size conundrum without sacrificing graphical fidelity then and only then can will we add more slots.

Not in a couple years, but before i played it for about 10 years straight, and they always had all the jerseys, so if not anymore, then i stand corrected.

These are replacing the old blue jersey that was previously in the game. So it shouldn't be an issue of uniform slots.

Considering that their old blue jerseys were the BP/spring training jerseys, I think there is a good chance these are in. That is if the Astros filed them early enough
