Players that turned generic when transferring a save from MLB 14 to 15 was a big problem for me in last year's game. I guess I just didn't understand it. I understand the reasoning of why MiLB and rookie players aren't in the game, but to (inconsistently) turn a MLB player generic because he was hurt the previous season really dampened my enthusiasm last year when I wanted to continue a year to year save. If he has to be made generic, at minimum his name should be able to be edited so you can fix it in your franchise. Interested in hearing how it is implemented this year.

Weren't you able to edit players who were removed for legal reasons?

Yes I believe so. There was a gitch in franchise mode to start last year. You couldn't edit players.

If I remember correctly there was an initial bug that you couldn't edit players in Franchise mode. I don't remember if it was just carryover saves but I remember having to wait a while before I could edit the players back.

If they would/could add all the removed players names into the available names database carry over saves work practically perfect.

Ive been asking/requesting this for years!!!!!
Some of the player photos are bad or non-exhistant or worse yet they all still have beards!
Would truly be nice if they added ALL last names of all MLB players into the vault.
Its funny when we have rookie last names in data base like
Bryant, Correa, Swanson etc. (That never played a MLB before last year
But we are still missing last names like
Rondon, D'Arnaud, Reddick etc.
worst case scenerio just do it the same way the do with real players, you play 1 game in majors or 60 day DL your name goes in the data base

I am just hoping and praying they have a import player to franchise option, I know Russell said it was something they were looking at last year, this would save 30 mins of taking a video and re creating that player in franchise mode again, a simple export import 10 second save would be AWESOME, then we could actually edit our rosters while playing franchise from day 1 rather then spend 2 months trying to get a roster correct,


I wasn't happy last year about that edit player glitch but they did soemthing that EA sports would never have done patched and fixed it!!

If they were around when SCEA did face scans last spring. Otherwise, probably not.
