Good catch. That's the good thing about the transparency and interaction with the dev team pre- release. It allows us to point out details they may have overlooked and hopefully they can correct them before release.

Brewers fans will know more about this, but how often do they close the panels at Miller Park? Is it often enough for them to include them in the game? I don't really remember them ever being closed when St. Louis is in town.
It's not like Houston or Arizona where it's always hot so the panels are an automatic thing. It's kind of like an inbetween that and Seattle, which is still open air.Last edited by sydrogerdavid; 02-12-2016, 08:00 PM.Comment

I completely understand. I didn't want you to go out of your way. I thought maybe you had a list already that could be copied/pasted. Thanks anyway.Comment

First I would just like to thank the team at SCE. You guys are incredible. There is no other way of putting it. You work so hard to please your fans. The effort that must have gone into getting SOTS back, well, I can imagine was extensive. Thank you for coming into these forums, reading all of our comments and concerns, and then doing the best you can to implement them into the new versions. Hats off to the entire team!
Now, this is my first time writing in here. So here is one thing I would love to be fixed for MLB 17' (I imagine it might be too late for this year's version) I play as the Blue Jays most often. For some reason the fans are mostly wearing all red in the crowds at BLUE Jays game haha. I get that we are from Canada (and our red flag) but I go to Jays games often, and the crowd is a mixture of Blue and white (mostly Blue). Possible to fix that Russell?
Only other thing I will mention here, is when it's June/July/August in my season, people in the crowd are still wearing ear muffs and big winter jackets. Again, maybe this is kinda SCE fun way of poking fun at Canada? But come on boys, it's 80 degrees on average here those months. Let's see some Blue Jays jerseys and short sleeve shirts and ball caps.
Those are small things though. This message was more to let you guys know your hard work is not going unnoticed. Keep it up! We all can't wait!Comment

Not sure how the devs do the weather, but another concern would be that if is that they leave wind factors in would it be possible for it to rain with the closed roof? That would completely kill the feature.
Below is an excerpt from the Brewers site in regards to the roof
There are several factors that determine the roof position for a game, including precipitation, game temperature, wind conditions and the weather forecast for the balance of the game. Obviously, we will close the roof when it is raining or very cold. Based on fan surveys, we will generally keep the roof closed if game temperatures are expected to be below 60 degrees.
In addition, even if the temperature is above 60 degrees, we will close the roof if rain and high winds are in the forecast. This is due to the fact that we need to send a roof crew to the roof to do a manual inspection before we make a roof move. If there are strong winds, it is not a safe environment for our roof crew to go onto the roof. We recognize that our fans will not always agree on the roof position. Some fans want the roof open all the time-regardless of temperature—unless it is raining. Other fans want the roof closed unless the temperature is in the high 60s. Other fans have different views depending on whether their seats are in the sun or the shade. We attempt to create an environment that is comfortable for as many of our fans as possible.Comment

No. That would add at least another month getting the rosters. In the SOTS thread they have a separate group that works on them. Plus, you have to have the music files on your personal hard drive, they cant be downloaded through a vault. That has copyright issues all over it.Comment

Sounds great. I just wish that Shea was included in the classics. Certainly not a huge deal, though. Maybe it will be added later as a purchase or patch. In any case, it's great to see classic stadiums back.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Twitch Stream - The Little Things (Archive Available)
I didn't get into The Show until 15 on PS4. I tried in the past but my eyes were never good enough for the PS3 quality (I played 2K12 on PC for a while due to this, actually) although I always wanted to because of the realism and SOTS.
That being said I never got into SOTS, I delved into the equivalent on NHL13 quite a bit though.
So my question is, if someone downloads one of the fantastic SOTS sets from OS, how easy is it to import into a roster? Is the process time consuming, to the point of having to go in and mark start points for every sound file and place them on every player/team? Can this be set by the SOTS maker to maximize efficiency? I won't complain if that's the case, just curious how smooth the process is.
Any information would be fantastic, I'm extremely excited for the feature and will no doubt spend alot of time tweaking my experience for the most possible immersion. Loving the direction 16 is going in!Comment

Has PBR been turned on in any of the builds we were watching?
It feels to me like the game looks crisper? Maybe that's just because I hadn't played it since Atlanta turned sour last year.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

After you download the set, you just gotta put the team folder on a usb, and connect the usb to your ps3 (now ps4), and copy the files, thats takes hardly any time.
You do however have to go into the music editor and set mark points for every sound file, as there are 3 separate sounds in each piece, for example one sound file would have (team win/team loss/strike out), or three different batter walk up songs, for example (Bautista/Tulo/Donaldson). So you have to set three different mark points for each.
And then yeah, you do have to place them on each player and team yourself. Ultimately it's not too bad, and it's definitely worth the time.
I just did one team, took about 25 minutes for the whole thing.Last edited by Factzzz; 02-12-2016, 11:40 PM.NFL : Atlanta Falcons

Awesome, I figured as such. You're absolutely right, it's totally worth the time, especially considering how much time was put into getting the sounds right by the creators. Gotta respect that
Thanks for the answer, Factzzz!Comment
