    MLB The Show 16 cameras

This might have been answered, but I don't remember. What are the camera views on MLB 16? Also is the no-doubt HR camera an option to turn it off? Thank you.

They have only mentioned the new "fish eye/fish bowl" batting camera. Otherwise, any other changes will probably have to wait for the presentation stream on the 25th.

yea, we'll have to wait to see if there is anything else... but i think myself and a few others are really hoping for a camera like THIS to play. During one of the streams, as they were setting the game on auto mode, the guy put the game in a 'free-camera'-like mode where he was adjusting the camera as the game continued. I REALLY hope we'd be able to set and leave the camera on this mode and just play without it transitioning cameras.

Yep lots of us have been asking for this kind of camera angle for years now and I have lost all hope that we will ever get it in the game.

I want it for my CPU VS CPU games for Batting,Pitching and Fielding.

I know, but i hope they surprise me. I think the easiest way to accommodate this request would just be to give us a 'free roam' camera to play with. It seems like the tools are already within the game, we would just need an option added among cameras.

          Fingers crossed

a free roam camera would be nice, just imagine if you are a season ticket holder and are able to place the camera in the show where your seats are located and watch a cpu vs cpu game from there.

In the latest stream, I did notice a batting camera that said "retro" as they were scrolling in the camera options screen. I don't have a screenshot but it is low and zoomed out, which is how I usually make my custom batting camera/view

Tried to create a camera like this during the cycle, but I got too busy and had to drop it. Maybe next year.

Bummer. Of all the great features that get added every year, there are a bunch of us on this forum that would love to see a bunch of new cameras added....and it never happens.

In my opinion, this game becomes a masterpiece the day that a camera showing almost the entire field gets added as an option for a fielding cam. Yes, this is not entirely practical for most, but I play auto-fielding and just want to watch all the action on one screen and not have the zoom-ins. I also want to watch ball-flight because I personally think it adds drama to drives and high arcing long fly balls.

The view that the dev got with that free-cam was almost perfect actually. Or even an upper deck isometric angled view would be fun too. Like a static fan-cam. Won't stop me from buying the show (because quick counts and the ability to play a series without going to menu are amazing additions), but it feels like a disappointment every year new cams aren't added, and new stat overlays/audio aren't added.

                    Russell god bless you seriously

I would have loved to have this type of camera view in 16 but just the fact that you at least tried to create it for us is very nice of you. We all know you guys are so busy over there so I for one completely understand and appreciate that you at least tried. If at all possible please create this camera view for 17. I know it would make so many people here very happy If possible I would like the camera stationary in the upper deck behind home plate. And perhaps it could move slightly left and right as the ball is hit in those directions just enough so you can see left and right field. Also please allow this new camera to be used for Batting, Pitching and Fielding without any zooming in on plays. I want to see all the action from this view just as if I was actually sitting in this location at the stadium

See in this screenshot how the camera is turned a little bit to the right that is what I would like the camera to do on balls hit to right field. Of course if you can create a camera that shows the entire field all at once then I guess the camera would not have to move at all.

I do understand using this type of camera view for playing will be a little difficult for some but I want it mainly for CPU VS CPU games. This will be a fun camera to use and will probably be the best camera to use to show off how beautiful all the stadiums look.

                    So here's hoping for 17

I just wish we could zoom in on the medium cam slightly or zoom out on the broadcast cam slightly. Either or both I would love. Mostly play with broadcast and as long as the ball is in the middle of the field it is great but things kind of degrade for me on balls hit to left or right both infield or outfield.

I don't understand. That camera and angle was shown in the stream already. Really hoping this is in the game. Isn't is just a modified press box view?

It looks like press box view to me. Play a game in manage mode and select press box camera.
