Marlins Man.
Who else would love to see this guy show up in the stands behind home plate in huge playoff games? Me and a friend of mine started noticing him at the Cubs playoff games this year and eventually looked him up online. Sure enough he's become fairly well known for appearing at major sporting events. And in baseball games he's almost always right there behind the catcher where you can see him in his orange Marlins jersey with his orange visor.

Ive seen enough of him in the playoffs the past few years. Hes mostly on his phone tweeting and doing hand signs. I know he invites people that cant go to the games. Hes a nice guy i heard. -

I don't want to create a new thread for this, buuuut since this post has "Marlins" in the title - any chance we see the players lose their facial hair after Don Mattingly's new team policy for 2016, devs?Comment

That's cool. I wish SCEA would add people on their phones in the stands. Taking pics, selfies, texting, etc. And yes, I realize how small of a detail that request is, but SCEA's always talking about this "little things," so...
But Marlins Man would be a great addition. Again, primarily for huge games.Comment

I was wondering that too. They do it for the Yankees but it might be too late.Comment

I'd sooner see the guy that bangs the drum at Indians games than Marlins Man make it in.
But yeah, likeness rights would grind stuff like this to a halt right away. When the Giants come to town, it's Bye Bye Baby...Comment

Fixed.
Precisely...similar to MiLB players, they'd need to negotiate with him individually to have his likeness in the game. I don't think it'd be worth it.
I'm curious of this as well but I'd guess it likely won't happen with the game only a month away.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

This would be like the fans dressed as umps at all of the Jays games a few years back.
It'd be cool, but there is always a legal issue. And those guys WERE lawyers.Comment

There are certain ways to get around it. Just have a person wearing the Marlins gear no likeness. Or maybe he's just be nice and says yes. Not everyone is a money grabbing fiend.Comment
