I stumbled upon a new legend in MLB 16...

Hey there I just wanted to tell all of you I happened to stumble on something earlier tonight while watching the Q&A stream.

While Ramone towards the end (or whoever was controlling it) was flipping through batting stances my computer buffered and froze for about 5 seconds and I went back to double check and ROBERTO ALOMAR has his stance in the game, chances are this is a legend for the Toronto Blue Jays, talk about good timing and for once not being annoyed to see buffering

I thought I had seen Ramone confirm somewhere that a stance doesn't mean that there's an actual legend associated with it. I can't find anything, though, so maybe this cold medicine is messing with my head.

I wasn't going to say anything but I saw it too. Please don't be mad SSD we're just a very passionate and meticulous fanbase.

Who knew baseball fans were like that?

Their actual name is in the game. It's not just "legend stance 13" like before.

Just because the name is in the hitting stance options doesn't mean that player is in the game. For example, Yogi Berra does not appear, although he should, on the same page as Johnny Bench. Also if you look at the windups they show, Eckersley is not there either.

If you know this series well, you'd know some guys have hidden stances/windups. Point being, you can't use someones name without them being associated with the game, which is why we have legend stances.

I noticed they've also updated some legend stances from past games. They had it on Harmon Killebrew's stance for a few seconds and he's got a new stance. It had been the same stance since around MLB 08, so that's cool to see there's some updated legend stances.

Love it seeing the original Big Mac in the Show. One of the greatest to come from Bama (The state, not the University).

Just because stance is in game does not mean they are...example is Wade Boggs stance is in 15, but he was not. Not sure if there are other examples or not, I just remember seeing this one in 15.

Willie McCovey?!? Sweet I really hope he is in the game. Hopefully they'll eventually add Mays as well, but I'm pretty happy with the new additions of Orlando Cepeda, Juan Marichal and Willie McCovey if that's real!

Boggs stance is in MLB '15. It's legend stance 10, but his NAME is not in MLB '15.

That's what we're talking about, these players names are in the database not just their (legend) stance. With how careful SCEA is about things that could get them in trouble, you think they're gonna put NAMES of players in the game without them possibly being in it in some capacity?
