Not a single Brave on the list. It's going to be a long year. Glad I can start from my saved Franchise from 2014 before they traded everyone away.

So 3 of the top 6 SS are guys who have barely played half a season? Doesn't that seem a little silly?

No... There is tons of young talent at SS, who would you put ahead of them.

Peralta and Iglesias could be above at least Seager. Seager will probably be better than them both but a guy with one month in the majors who the league hasn't even adjusted to yet shouldn't be top 5 yet.

An example was last year. Iglesias was hitting around 360 the first 40 games of the year. I just think the sample size is too small right now.

I forgot about Peralta, I agree he should be up there, but SS ovr does weigh speed and fielding alot more than other postions.

I'm curious if this is a typo or a subtle jab by Steve.

Personally, I think he mispelt Clown Harper; IDK though...maybe that's just me.

Having searched the thread to see if it has already been posted this a link to the stream in which the devs go through the ratings and give a slightly more detailed look than the screen captures.

Twitch is the world's leading video platform and community for gamers.

Fast forward to 1:32 of the video to see the ratings reveal.

39 posts is a mega thread?

JMO but I feel like no player should be ranked above a 95.
Everyone has flaws in their game and to be rated a 99 is insane.
Regardless SCEA always does a great job with ratings and the players I feel shouldn't be ranked as high I'll just adjust.
Great job as always Ramone and Co.

I wouldn't conclude that - durability isn't on the pie chart either but it is very important.

One thing I noticed, pitch type and velocity are now displayed again. It is good to see that back in the game.

For gameplay purposes I think that durability and discipline are probably the ones you need to see the least. For franchise, sure you'd want to see everything, but for a quick glance to see how that player might perform in game I don't think they are needed. Discipline only governs check swings in game for instance.

I like the radial graphs in concept, but it can be hard at a glance to see if someone is a few points better than someone else. It can be important on key ratings like speed for instance. If I have two guys I want to pinch run, of course I want the 96 rated guy and not the 94 rated one. Hard to tell on the radial at a quick glance. So you'll still need to use the player cards for stuff like that I think, or look real hard at the radial.

Glad to see Chris Sale getting some love but I'm wondering what two of the most underrated pitchers in baseball are rated... Chris Archer and Jose Quintana

I understand why they do it, but there should definitely be some exceptions for guys who are completely expected to keep up their performance such as Pollock.
