that don't have six years of mlb service. I had two great pitchers with with 3-4 years of mlb service and are now gone. I checked other teams and the Tigers have one of my SP. I offered him a multi-year contract then once the exclusive negotiations date hit, he was gone. Is this a bug or maybe I am misunderstanding the rules.

Did you have the opportunity to renew their contract? I've almost missed out on renewing contracts while I was waiting for them to sign long term deals. -

You either failed to offer arbitration prior to the date or failed to renew the contract. The game accurately replicates reality in this area.≡Comment

You have to offer them arbitration or they become free agents. Also when they have a renew contract you have to offer them something to keep other teams from taking them, then at the end of the off-season which is the end of February you have to renew that contract usually for one year if they don't agree to the multi year deal.Comment
