This is probably a silly question. When I play online, it appears that I cannot control how my players slide into bases like I can in any other mode. Is there no way to control this online or am I missing something?

For example, in conquest mode, I can do hook slides and stuff, but if I play a Diamond Dynasty game against another human, I no longer can control the types of slides my players make, and this makes it almost impossible to steal bases

So what is the best way to set-up the 40-man roster....i turned injuries off and simmed to the last day of Spring Training. Do i sim the game and then set the 40-man after?

I actually had a pinch runner attempt work for the first time in my franchise. It only took until June.

However, that isn't why I'm posting this. Has anyone else had any issues uploading their franchise to the cloud? Every time my buddy goes to do it his game crashes 3 or 4 times before he finally gets a successful upload. It will still crash after that upload, but it does finally get the file onto the cloud. Then last night he tried for about 20 minutes and it never once had a successful upload. The game would just crash every single time he'd try.

He has a digital copy and deleted it and is reinstalling it today, so hopefully that fixes the problem and allows us to continue our franchise together. We never had this issue with 15, just this year's version.

How did I get this?

I just opened MLB the Show and I apparently earned 94 Manny Machado. I was thrilled because he is my favorite player and my team is pretty bad. But how did I get him?

Sometimes the post game rewards don't proc for whatever reason, weather it be a bad connection to the server or even that you're not connected to the internet. The game still remembers that you earned these rewards though and awards them to you the next time you log on.

I usually disconnect my PS4 from the internet for the first few days after launch, then when I reconnect I always get a huge stream of rewards.

Does anyone see Kirby St. John in the SF Giants rotation in franchise mode with default rosters? I thought that was odd to see when I went to face the Giants

It didn't remember the cards I got this weekend (saturday morning and night) when I logged in. I thought for sure that they would be there when I logged in last night but no dice, so I'm not so sure about it remembering stuff. Luckily for me it was just two commons.

Think you need to make 10 or 15 posts or something first. It's a guard so that bots can't start threads.

Does equipment work in RTTS? I read somewhere that it didn't work a week or so ago. Then, a couple of days later, I read that cleats were working (speed wise anyway) after a server update rolled out.


It's not that I'm having any problems in my RTTS careers but it drives me nuts not knowing, especially since I spent a small fortune on equipment. Also, if it's true that they're not working, I would have a couple of players that will be extremely OP when they DO work.

I was wondering how the overall Franchise Mode is in '16. I really enjoyed '15's, but one thing I had a problem with was the lack of big time FAs. I was wondering if more of the better players entered the market opposed to signing with the team first. Has there been a higher frequency of this happening in '16?

Also, has there been any tweaks to the trading system?
