Fire Sale of MLB 15 Items

My understanding is that none of the collectable items will carry over from MLB 15 to MLB 16 -- such as equipment, franchise sponsorships, DD cards, or stubs.

So, over the last month, I have been slowly unloading as much of it as I can in the marketplace. In fact, I don't know if it has occurred for you, but my daily sign-in bonus cards have been way better lately.

I think the day or two before 16 arrives (this weekend, essentially), I will unload the diamond level stuff I have currently applied in RTTS and Franchise. Then I will cash in all my stubs on RTTS points and/or Franchise dollars and apply them before transferring over since ratings/budgets are the things that do carry over.

Thoughts? Am I overlooking something or is this a decent idea?

Yeah, I was going to say that selling them would be useless unless you spent stubs on RTTS training points and used them. I am not sure if there is anything else you can purchase with stubs that will carry over.

I might try this but I don't have any Diamond players or that many good cards in general.

I'm going to wait to sell everything off, just in case 16 scans your 15 collection for reward items or something like that. Then I'll dump all of my stubs into an RttS player in 15 and import him into 16.

Yeah, most of mine are locked as well due to completing all collections. Still, I have maybe 10-20k in sellable cards, better to sell them now than let them sit there I suppose.
