You guys have an idea what it would take to get swihart and Holt from the last place Red Sox as the Astros? I lost Gomez for for a couple months and correa and Springer have both been injured and I'm apparently horrific with Castro batting .143. Also any teams that might want rasmus? Yanks, Indians, Mets, and dodgers are leading divisions with White Sox, Rays and marlins, giants leading wild card.

You would have to give up a lot for Profar...

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. He was more of a fringe idea to go to Chicago for me. Really, I'm just looking at the minor players, and am fine with Alberto instead.

But on the Profar thing, since I'm running 30-team control and looking to make trades for all teams in the league as well, could Profar be the centerpiece of a trade for Jonathan Lucroy? If so, or if not, what would need to be changed? Lucroy to the Rangers just makes too much sense, and I want to find a package to make that deal happen as well.

That would be a huge haul, and certainly be criticized, but I'd be lying if I said I couldn't see the Rangers using them to pull in Lucroy. Sure, Profar has looked good after coming back from his injury so far, so maybe he is out the question. But Gallo, who has immense power, could be overshadowed by Mazara. And if they have a chance to solidify their catcher situation, with the way they are playing now, I think they have to go for it.

Maybe they'd be better served to trade those two in a theoretical trade to pick up Joey Votto. First base has been horrible for them this year. But for the purposes of my franchise, catcher has been their weak link, and I could see them possibly dangling one of those two as the centerpiece for a trade. But I would like some more ideas. What could be a potential package for Lucroy in game. Assume desperation on Texas' part to overtake the Astros (1.5 games ahead) and pull away from the Mariners (1 game behind)

Trade or convert?


playing my franchise with the cards in about mid June 1 game back from first place but in a very tight race, and I now have every single 1st baseman on the 60 DL (Moss, Adams, and Ford) Moss is the closest to returning with about 20 days left but Adams and Ford just went on with 2 to 3 month long of a injury.


So, my question is do I convert Holliday as my every day 1st baseman and have Carpenter as my back up and wait until Moss returns or should I look for a trade of some sort. I can't make up my mind on it , so I'm looking for suggestions.

Convert. St. Louis has some pretty good depth in players like pham, Hazelbaker, Grichuk, and Piscotty. I don't know if you have Carlos Peguero on your rosters in AAA. He has some good power;plays above his power rating. He is not a long term fix but might help in a short term situation.

In my Yankees franchise im looking to make a trade for Nolan Arennado but i wanted to see if there is a package i can make around Mateo to get him. I just started June and im in first place in the division while the Rockies are in last place. I can provide any info needed for players so just let me know, and thank you in advance!

I don't know if this can happen. Arenado is one of the best young hitters in baseball and plays outstanding defense as well.

To even begin discussion I'd assume it would have to include Mateo + Judge + Severino at least. If you want a superstar its going to gut your team.

Think about it in the Rockies point of view. What kind of value would you want in return for him?

No, there's no way. No combination of players on the Yankees is worth Arenado, let alone it already not being realistic. Teams don't trade young superstars just because they are in last place. Took them like 10 years to move Tulo.

It depends on his stats, but I seriously doubt it. I can't think of any team willing to trade for Fielder's contract (especially the Royals who already have Hosmer), let alone you getting prospects on top of that. I don't see the logic for KC.
