Does anyone know where you start with your territories in Conquest Mode? Do you start where your team is located? Or in a random spot?

Same spot every time. It is where the IGN logo is.

I am really looking forward to this game mode.


Tonight will be all about exhibition games as I try to get acclimated to the new camera angle and changes to the Zone hitting.


Tomorrow I dive into this mode in earnest.

Dumb question if I capture a stronghold that originally belonged to the Red Sox let's say but the Yankees captured it before me will I get the Red Sox or Yankees ? Trying to do all the divisors but some are already captured by other teams.

You get the original stronghold team. In your scenario, Red Sox.

Yeah, But you play in the Yankees Park. I wish the strongholds kept the same stadium regardless of who occupies them.

That's a very cool idea. So if the Yankees defeated the Sox in their stronghold, they would occupy Fenway and you'd have to kick them out. I like it.

I mean it only makes sense, they are not tearing down the old stadium and building a replica of their home stadium. Plus it gives you a chance to play in every ML park while making your way through conquest.
