I can easily get on board with that. Go back and play MLB 11 (still a great game after all these years) and experience broadcast presentation....or if you really want to see another way...real time presentation.
The pace, the walkups, the foul balls, all the fidgeting by batters after each pitch. yes I know MLB is trying to speed up the game...but it still has it's nuances. Those have been slowly removed over the last 3 years.
I still love the game. But I totally can get on board with the presentation being cut too much.
It has gone a little over board IMO. I want that full robust baseball game experience we used to have on 11....hell even 12 still had most of the elements.
Great point.
As far as too many HR's....I would say keep playing. I am seeing all kinds of great games and hit variety has never been better. They nailed it this year. It's been an evolving feature (ball physics) that I have noticed each and every version get better and better.
I watch baseball everyday, multiple games (flipping back and forth with MLB Extra Innings like most of you I am sure) and the amount of monster HR's has increased two fold, the amount of errors I see on a nightly basis thus far has been astounding (George Springer had a doozy of an error...he looked like a little league rec ball player that's how bad it was which led to a 5 run inning with 2 outs)...so all kinds of things happen in games.
