I echo some of the sentiments here. Frame rate issues have been present since 14. Some people are just more sensitive to it than others. The issue seems related to how the crowd is graphically rendered. In instances where the crowd is not on-screen, there isn't much of an issue. After playing in a Spring Training stadium and then a MLB stadium, the differences are clear, if one is sensitive to frame rate drops.

Okay. Just finished a game between cardinals and Cubs and I did nitice lag during cutscenes. Also, did they take out pitcher warm ups? Just feels like they have sacrificed some.

Well maybe the crowd should be down rez-ed to something that would allow the framerate to be a stable 60fps or whatever it takes to keep the on the field fps at 60 where it really counts.

I'd rather have a smooth gameplay experience than a detailed crowd. Hope this is fixable with a patch.

Really? Can I borrow your copy because you must have a special one then the rest of us

Is one thing to not notice it much or not bother you at all but to say you have had not one instance of stuttering or frames dropping is not true at all

I demand to know where you got your copy from

mvp digital version. And no, I'm not lying. I honestly have not had an issue with frame rate and I just finished up one season with my RttS player and played about 2 weeks worth of games into the next season with no issues. The issues I have are stat related.

I have yet to play the game but this game as been at 60 FPS from ps3 on. Yet ever year I see some people saying the game is not smooth even though it has been 60 FPS for like 10 years straight. So I don't really get it. Like 2 years ago the cutscenes where choppy but even than the gameplay was at a smooth 60 FPS and I believe that most people wouldn't be able to even tell the difference between 30 and 60 FPS in a video game.

The last time I played The Show on PS3, it was 11. And yes, it did feel like 60 FPS. But since the series has been on PS4, there has been slowdown in cutscenes even if the gameplay fluctuated between an apparent 30 and 60 fps.

But this version feels like it has a 30 FPS cap. That's just my perception. Still a fun game. Maybe Digital Foundry will evaluate this game, but it has not in the past.

very true discs are becoming obsolete

I don't know about that 80% of game sales are still disk and only 20 are digital.

In less things have changed a lot in the last sever months its 80-20 because I remember hearing that just last year.

The game has definitely not run at 60 fps for 10 years. It's never run @ 60 fps in any iteration I have ever played.
