What camera settings are you using? Tell me which batting and hitting cameras you use along with when the ball is in play when you're on offense and defense. I will test the same settings you're using and report back later. Also, give me a specific park to try, time of day, month of the year etc.

Re: Stuttering during gameplay?
I'm telling you guys. Check my post history. I am THE biggest graphics whore on this site. I see every graphical hiccup. 15 if I wasn't on game mode or pc mode stuttered in and out of gameplay.
In this years game not only is it gorgeous I see minor hiccups only during some batter walkups.
the tv cannot cause frames to drop or stutters when this is coming from the in game engine.Comment

I noticed jaggies everywhere last year on players sleeves and all over their face in certain camera cuts. I see NONE of that this year. Couldn't be happier b

Re: Stuttering during gameplay?
Absolutely. So far I've only played exhibition games. I've played in Pittsburgh a few times. A 4 o clock sunny game in April. Also a night game in September. I use the Texas broadcast camera angle for pitching. Fish eye for batting, and I use broadcast view for both defenses. Only stutter is during an occasional batter walkup right when the stats pop up.

Re: Stuttering during gameplay?
Rarely post here but wanted to post my settings FWIW. I use fish eye camera for batting and broadcast camera for pitching. When ball is in play on both offense and defense I use the medium camera view. I experience frame rate stuttering even when throwing a ball to 1st within the infield. Batter walk ups, cut scenes are a mess. When the catcher throws the ball back to the pitcher / cut scene in between pitches there is stutter. It is worse in some stadiums more than others. Specifically Wrigley and Citi Field, those are all I've played aside from Miller Park. I play in broadcast mode not quick mode. My TV is a Sony W800b LED, no issue there. Game mode on and all interpolation off.
I will preface my very negative opinion with a positive note- the lighting is spectacular. Day games at Miller Park with the roof closed are SPOT ON. Sunlight coming through the sides but the field still looks artificially lit, it looks exactly the same in real life. Speaking of roofs, glad they FINALLY incorporated closed / open roofs into the game. Took them long enough. All Star Baseball 2000 or 2001 for the original PS had this feature in it....
The poor frame rate is killing the experience for me and honestly is unacceptable. Sugar coat this and compliment the devs all you want. It is pathetic that in 2016, a flagship 1st party game has frame rate issues and can't run at a steady 60 fps, or even 30 fps at times. This has been an issue for many years but this year it's pretty bad and close to a game killer for me. How they don't notice this prior to release is beyond me. Or they don't care, which is even worse.
Hopefully a patch can fix the issue. I'll take a small graphics hit any day if it means the game will run at a steady 60 fps. Heck, even steady 30 fps I will take.Comment

Re: Stuttering during gameplay?
don't worry I know you're not lying because I haven't experienced any stuttering during the game either.
Best thing to do is do what I'm doing and just go back to enjoying the game and let those who are having issues rant because if you state something other than their opinion then you're lying, stupid, can't see, or have a special copy and they start demanding things from you.

Re: Stuttering during gameplay?
It's called the mother love syndrome.
When people claim that a mothers son is ugly but the mother has such passion and love for her son that they claim they are the most beautiful and no way they can be ugly.
If most are stating issues that are small to them (me) and more so to others then why come in and claim no issues when there are plenty who see them. And when the bulk on the thread claim they see issues and a couple say nothing to see here.
There is a little things thread for those that are in heaven and see no issues. This is for those who have the issue.Comment

Re: Stuttering during gameplay?
Well if there are so many issues then don't play the game. Save everyone who is trying to enjoy the game from having to see The Show forum become a cesspool of negativity which it always is this time of year no matter what. The sense of entitlement people have towards this game is just astounding.

I love the game and spent 70 on MVP edition and have bought the game from SCEA for the last 7 or so years. So my money is just as good as yours and I can talk to others about an issue we encounter. We are not bashing anybody we are just talking about an issue. You want us to not speak negatively on the game at all? Just praise praise praise?
Come on now...Comment
