It's not there. It used to have "Game Watch Options" and the options were classic (which is what we have now as the only option), all, and result pitch.

Pretty pissed right now. Not going to lie. Definitely wouldn't have made the purchase had I known this.

This was my bug report. For some reason, it is no longer on the bug reporter. I have PM'd Victor on theshownation.com and posted on their boards, but have not heard anything back. I haven't been rude or anything. I don't get why it was just removed. It's not even listed as closed or anything. Just not found!

A lot of people have said it already but I'm heartbroken that I can't watch the play-by-plays until after my first at-bat. I'm batting cleanup for the Astros in RTTS and I can come in and we're down 5-0 (the unbelievable amount of runs is another story) in the first inning, with Keuchel on the mound. I want to know what the hell happened and who did it. I guess I can press OPTIONS and check the stats there but it would be so much easier if I could just press TRIANGLE when the game starts.

I agree. All I want is a way to start the game in game watch mode. I have other wishes. But that, to me isn't a wish, it is a bug.

With the last patch, Game Watch/Play-By-Play are way better. If SCEA add the prompt also during the pre-game cutscene it would be perfect. That way, you don't miss the start of the match.

Thanks for pointing this out. I just tried it and I'll definitely take the updated toggle over the way it was before.

Hopefully something can be done about the start of the game when using Player Lock or RTTS so we have some context of what happened in the first inning!


But for now I can finally play the game my thumb was on fire from pressing "O"

Toggle Yellow= Watch all plays
Toggle White= Game will fast forward to your next appearance.

Dude! I don't know what to say. You pushed it through in the next patch. This is IN THE FREAKING GAME NOW! That's amazing. I will buy this game every year for the rest of my life due to your attention to the community on this. I will also tell every one of my friends about this and sing your praises on these forums and elsewhere.

I discovered something yesterday that I thought I'd share.

When you use the patched feature of pushing O for watch game, it will continue to allow you to watch the game until you change that option. We all know this. What I didn't know is that it will continue until the series is over as long as you stay in the series screen.

This should be helpful to those of us that were upset that we'd still miss the first few outs. Now we would only have to miss the first few outs of the first game of a series.

What we are still missing is the "RESULT PITCH" option so we don't have to start CPU hitters at a 0-0 count.

Unfortunately this only works in RTTS and not Franchise mode which I use to play player lock. I never will understand why they changed a set of features that were all ready working!

Oh well I gave up on the game even though some of the clearly visible bugs in a player lock or RTTS mode have been ironed out! Other major ones still exist like show time still happening when turned off. Too many launch issues for me!
