I play on a 65" Sony 4K TV and the game looks outstanding

I'm dying for the next generation of consoles and praying to god that games get produced with true 4K capability as opposed to the upscaling they currently do

I have a 49" 1080p Panasonic Plasma I bought in 2011 for $1K - crazy I can get this same TV for like $500 now.

The game looks great though; I haven't messed with any settings in a few years.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

50" Samsung plasma... only played batting practice so far but looks really good. Probably better than 15 from what little I've seen.

Nice I have a LCD TV that is only 720p that upscales to 1080p that is 37 inches. I want my next TV to be like a 55-60 inch and 4k 3d. I know 4k TV's are starting to go down in price a lot. I am not sure how long 4k TV's have been around but I think I had never heard of them in till 2014 and I think I never saw them in till 2015 and they look amazing. When it comes to my LCD 720p TV I noticed no difference at all if I have the TV set to game mode. You could change it and I wouldn't noticed fells and looks 100% the same no matter if I have game mode on or not.

About next gen I think we will see some 4k games but I think it will only be a small amount of games kind of like how last gen was a small amount of 1080 games and most where 720 instead. Than I think the gen after that will be mostly 4k games.

Yeah its crazy how tech goes down in price. The 37inch 720p LCD TV I got in 2007 cost like 700-800. Now you can get like 60inch TV's for that price or heck some 50inch 4k TV's now cost that much lol.

I play on a 52" Samsung Plasma which I've calibrated pretty good. No complaints on my end the game looks better than last year, but not as crazy different as last years to be honest.

I play on a calibrated 60" Panasonic VT30 from like 2013 or 2014...I don't remember exactly when. Prior to that I played on a 42" Pioneer Kuro (which is still the best engineered TV I've ever used).

To me, plasma TVs were great for getting a realistic picture. I find most LCD and LED TVs come calibrated with settings that make the picture look over sharpened and over saturated -- and while this is not desirable for watching TV or movies, I do find that it enhances the experience of playing video games. Also, plasma TVs have a lot of input lag -- make sure you use a 'game mode' if your TV has one.

I think that MLB16 is the best looking game in the series to date -- mostly due to the addition of PBR. I'm hoping we get new player models and even better textures next year.

Playing on a 50" Panasonic plasma, I think I bought it back in 2008...it's the only TV I've ever had my PS4 hooked up to, so perhaps I don't know what I'm missing! I've not noticed anything with jitters, etc. yet in the 4 games I played last evening...with that said, I'm planning to upgrade TVs soon and this will get moved to another room so I'm interested to see how everything looks on a newer TV.
