I searched and cant seem to find an answer but im trying to move a franchise from MLB 15 on the ps3 to MLB 16 on Ps4. Is this not doable or am I just missing a step. Ive uploaded to the cloud but when I go to my ps4 to continue the franchise it is not recognizing a save file on either the continue from 15 option or the cloud option. Any help is appreciated.

But there are(were?) cross platform saves.
I think I remember using my PS3 and PS4 to play a franchise(the PS3 was at work).

I believe you have to go from MLB 15 PS3 -> MLB 15 PS4 -> MLB 16 PS4.
You need someone with MLB 15 PS4 to pull your PS3 cloud save and transfer it to MLB 15 on the PS4 game. Then save it back to your cloud and then you can load it into MLB 16 PS4.Last edited by aukevin; 03-30-2016, 01:23 PM.

In The Show 14, there were definitely cross platform saves. I'm not sure if they still have them, but my guess is that in order to bring a save from PS3 to PS4, it would need to be the same iteration of the game. So, in order to bring his '15 PS3 save other to '16 on the PS4, he would need '15 on PS4.
PS3 '15 cross platform saved to PS4 '15, and then PS4 '15 y2y saved for PS4 '16.Comment

Sign up for 1 month free Gamefly, rent MLB 15 for PS4, install it, transfer save from PS3 MLB 15 to PS4 MLB 15, transfer save from PS4 MLB 15 -> 16, uninstall MLB 15, return game to Gamefly.Comment

Make sure you buy or rent MLB 15 for PS4 first and transfer that over to 16.
You can't go straight from PS3 and missing a year anymore.Comment
