Are no-hitters in rated online play common?

Re: Perfect Games and No Hitters

I have only thrown one no hitter before and it was on MLB 2k12. This is my first year playing the show however. I had one going through 8 innings the other night in Franchise with Matt Wisler. Of course Bryce Harper broke it up with a single that was just out of reach of a diving Drew Stubbs. Then Grilli blew the save in the 9th. I'm using Armor & Sword & Marino's sliders as well.

Okay..After years and years of playing baseball..I've gotten no perfect games or no-hitters..close calls, but no cigars..

Except yesterday..Made my first perfect game..Not that I am complaining, but something is fishy..Joe Kelly is not that great..

Got my first no hitter on Legend difficulty with my DD team against the Phillies(gave up 2 walks). During the game I also hit Velasquez in the face with a line drive that left him writhing in pain on the mound(he had to be pulled). Needless to say it was a sound beating.

I got a no hitter with Jeff Samardzija in MLB 14: The Show a couple years back in my Cubs Franchise. Felt pretty good, but I was bummed that I didn't get a trophy for it (I think MLB 14 onyl had a trophy for a perfect game). Still trying to get that elusive 15 strikeout game, though. Came close a couple times with 12 and 13 strikeout games, but I think variable difficulty in MLB 15 got the best of me eventually.

I was given a golden opprotunity and didn't blow it. I was playing the Brewers, who aren't very good to begin with. Add to that, they have Ryan Braun and several other players injured, and are fielding a roster with four position players with a 65 OVR or lower. In the third game of my series vs them, they also bench two of their best remaining players, and I'm up against a lineup of a bunch of guys who should be in AA, not MLB. Including the pitcher, three of their starters had a .000 batting average inn mid May. And I have Jake Arrieta on the hill.

It wasn't fair, but it was fun. No doubt my best game ever. Not only a perfect game, but 19 strikeouts, and I don't think that one of the other 8 outs was a hard hit ball. Felt a little unfair, but it was fully within the context of the game and franchise, and since Arrieta had actually gotten shelled and given up 7 runs in five innings in his previous start, it felt good to rebound.
Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.

Just pitched a perfect game with Jason Hammel against the Cardinals in my MLB 15 Franchise from last year. 7 strikeouts and I was getting no-hit by John Gast through 5 innings (partly because I rested almost all of my starters). Got my first hit in the 6th and got runners on 2nd & 3rd through two straight bunts (the first sac bunt ended up a bunt hit), but couldn't connect the next two batters. Went into the bottom of the 7th still tied 0-0 but I got a lead-off double and then a two-run homer a couple batters later. Knocked in one more run in the 8th off a lead-off triple after the left fielder misplayed a ball at the wall and a double afterward. Finished the 9th with a pop-out, a strikeout, and then a ground-out to third to end the game. Pretty cool.

Completed my first ever no hitter online in any baseball game. It was Corey Kluber against his Rays. I don't know how to take a screenshot but he recorded the game on twitch. We played 3 games tonight and the no hitter starts in minute 46.

I threw a "perfect" game with Randy Johnson in my '98 online league. It doesn't really count because we are only playing 6 inning games. I can be proud about the fact that I did it in Colorado and struck out 11.

Posted this last week in the fist pump thread:

I just threw my first ever perfect game. Rick Porcello against the O's. Never had a no-hitter. I just fist pumped so hard I almost cried. I can't believe it finally happened. Been playing baseball games since Bases Loaded for NES and this was the most satisfying game I've ever had. I'm on cloud nine right now!
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Got my second ever no-no. Should have been a perfect game. Fourth inning, Reyes was safe on an "error" on the glitch where Freeman fielded a grounder and went to the dugout instead of to first. That was the only baserunner.

I threw one with Folty on MLB 15. I don't remember there being any kind of acknowledgement then like there is on MLB 18.

My first and only no-no was with Paxton. I was so happy to see him get one tonight.
