    Hidden Player Audio database?

    Interesting find:

In The Show '16 I'm playing a Franchise '15 file. OSFM rosters from '15 - Miguel Sano's name is NOT in the name database for last year or '16. Created player has "Miguel" and "empty" for last name.

Steps up to bat and IN GAME Matt calls him "Miguel Sano" ...hmm..

Did some testing on other created players using their first name and leaving last empty. Players that were '15 rookies like Sano. Rodon/Saladino Chisox. No luck with Matt V. Still "number 55"

There must be a hidden player name database as Sano's name should not be identified and used by the commentary audio. Anyone else notice this?!

@sandmac, Good find possibly. I was questioning the name database too. Using year-to-year save. Playing as the Braves SP Matt Wisler last name is not in the database
But their in the game this year after accrued service time.

well I can't see any names for Profar, even though he was in the last 3 MLB games!! so if you can work out where that is hidden that be great, you will find the created player audio is completly different to the actual real players audio, and when using a created player audio the commontators wil sound like a robot I mean if you made someone called Steve Smith the inflection and upward inflections would sound off, but if he was a REAL player the commentary would read Steve Smith as one sentence, which I believe is the hidden audio
