30 team control??

I know a lot of you, as am I, are waiting for the OSFM to drop before beginning their franchise, but I was wondering if anyone has started yet, or has an opinion on if 30 team control is the way to go this year, considering the supposed new call up/send down logic, and the new trade slider. I know there's some of you that will always want the complete 30 team control, but hoping that it's not necessary for those of us who just want to play a game without the CPU's rosters getting totally out of whack.

In 30 team control you don't control all 30 teams. So the new logic will still be there. Its like playing in commissioner mode in OOTP, the CPU does everything but if it does something outrageous that you don't like, and it will, you can stop it or change it back.

But if we start with the OS rosters when they drop and don't want to do 30 team control, will the CPU realistically set the 40 man and call up the injured players who are left in A ball from the editors ect?

I hate 30 team control but always have to do it and go through and adjust everything because players are never called up on their own when the rosters release.

I am not sure. If that is supposed to be a feature this year then i guess they should. I know last year they didn't, was that supposed to be fixed?

For the first year....the game itself will only call up players who are on the 40 man roster.
It won't adjust 40 man rosters DURING the season.....UNLESS you only have 25 on the 40 man....then it will add as needed.
The issue is that those guys in Single A are usually out for the season and are removed from the 40 man(because we can't injure players outside of franchise)

So.....put them on the 40 or take players off the 40(before you start your franchise) and your issue will be remedied.

Really??? So all I have to do is add them to the 40 man and the cpu will automatically move them to the MLB if they're stars? Thought I had tried that before and it still didn't call them up. I'll give it a shot though thanks!
