Guess OSFM's rosters will fix that. Not to mention Almora has some random name. Lol

What do you think they should be? Schwarber is little more than raw power and Soler is good but hasn't lived up anywhere near an A. And Almora hasn't played in the MLB yet has he?

Just change their potential if it's a problem.

I also don't agree with Duffy and Panik's potentials at B but that's life. Their potential can go up if they perform well too.

If that is not good enough edit your roster and change their potential to what you want.

Yeah, like the other guys said, just go in and change it. One of the beauties of The Show is the control that we have over the players, especially before you start your franchise.

IMO, Schwarber is an A, however I can understand a non-Cub fan thinking that he's a B due to his lack of defense. Soler hasn't stayed healthy and proven a lot yet, so I actually think that the B is very fair for him. They did give As to Bryant, Russell and Javy out of the box, so I don't think that we have a lot of room to complain. And not only is the team going to be very good in 16 (both in the game and in real life), but within the game, it'll be VERY easy to have a huge amount of budget room as early as 2017 while losing almost no one of importance due to how awesome AND cheap all of the young guys are.
Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.

Defense is half the game, so if you agree he's (Schwarber) significantly lacking that, I'm not sure how you see him as an A...

That's like expecting to get an A on a test but you only did half!

This also probably belongs in the Rosters sub-forum, and yeah you can just change your ratings if they bother you. I've changed some of mine in previous years.

Edit: this does make me realize that perhaps in future years we should get two potential ratings, one for offense attributes and one for defensive attributes.

Schwarber isn't a great defensive player but he's better than he gets credit for. He and Soler were two of he biggest post season performers last year. Lol
I understand I can change it but Schwarber should be an A without a doubt. He will hit for power and average. I wasn't ranting I was just confused as to how they came up with it. And Almora is one of the highest rated prospects in the farm of any farm. He couldn't get a name?

Schwarber is an American league type player who should be DH'ing. He'll make good trade bait for the Cubs some year.

You obviously watch the Cubs like never. He's an athlete. He's like 5lbs less than Rizzo

                  Soler is definitely B potential.
And I can see the argument for Schwarber but still think an 87-88 pot is fair

So you guys are saying Schwarber is an above average fielder in LF?

Ratings seem fair to me. Let's not get over our heads over players on our favorite teams. Being a Braves fan, I sure hope Dansby Swanson turns out to be a star in the majors, but I'm not getting out of shape if he was B rated in the game, since he hasn't proved anything yet.

I would say he's average but better than people think. It's obvious by the comments that people haven't seen much of him. And to those saying Soler is a B I guess you're right. I can live with it I can live with Schwarber being a B or I can change it. Was just surprised is all. Like I said, guarantee when OSFM comes out things will be different in Schwarber's case.

I totally get your point but from an outsiders perspective, Dansby should be an A. There's all kinds of B rated talent that should be an A. Dansby is a perfect example. Javier Baez is still an A. Schwarber has done way more than Baez.

On the last sentence no it won't. They don't change the ratings for the SCEA players.
