Really it should depend on the particulat catchers durability. If I have a catcher with good/great durability, I still don't push him past 130 games. In fact, if I can get away with it, I try to put that limit at 120 games. What's that, roughly 5 games, then rest a day?

Nice game, pretty boy.
I always mimic what real MLB teams do, for example in Angels seasons (MLB '09 & '10) used to give Erick Aybar at least one day off during week. A Wednesday/Sunday day game start to Brandon Wood just so I could keep Aybar energy up. Even if it means no production from prospect or utility guy I like to play entire roster.
I have a deep roster so I like to cycle it and keep my guys fresh, but If I had a shallower roster I'd go 4 days on 1 day off for the catcher. Position players would depend on the individual, the potential replacement and the schedule.
