Re: Which camera do you like?

I'm seeing pitches better with a slightly adjusted retro camera than I ever have in The Show. I zoomed in, lowered, and tilted up just a bit and I see pitches out of the pitchers hand so much better this year.

      That is a gorgeous view.

BTW what is this retro camera people are talking about?

Can any of these slightly modified camera options be used in online games va, other humans? What about conquest mode?

I leave mine at default...i typically suck at hitting but actually love this new fisheye view & finally can pick up the pitches! Sliders give me trouble still but love sitting on a hanger!

Usually each year the first thing I do with the Show is set up G'MO's Custom Offset Camera 2012 (well worth doing a search to check it out). However this year Fisheye has tempted me away. Loving it so far.

I hit and pitch from a custom Pitcher Center.

                I know. I'm crazy.

Going to have to try to replicate this.

I swear every time I try Fisheye, I wish I could put both pitch speed sliders to like 17 or something.

I did a search for this and found the thread and tried to replicate it real quick because I was curious and willing to try anything for better results.

Played one of my online league franchise games against one of the CPU teams. It's all star settings and I have yet to beat the CPU in the league and I beat them first game using that camera blowing them out 8 - 1 hitting 4 homers. I will stick with this and try to replicate it even more but that cam might be on to something for sure considering I was lucky before to even get 2 runs vs the CPU in my previous games against them. Amazing result for first game.. still can't believe it

G'MO did some very well researched work with cameras and even ended up with a couple of cameras based off his in the game. I have used them exclusively for 5 years and have always been able to pick fastball versus off speed pitches mainly because of the excellent camera angle. I will see how long I can last with Fisheye before I go back to G'MO.

Zoomed in a bit Retro and tilted so the top of the pitchers head or front of the hat is lined up with the top of the strikezone. Can see pitches nice. Playing all-star

Retro and customized it a bit. Retro makes it easy for me to decide if a pitch is a ball or strike. Also, I love the way the outfield is zoomed in, really allows you to see and enjoy the beautiful stadiums. Fisheye gives you a nice panoramic view but everything is so far away and small that it is hard to see the stadium details.

Any other suggestions? Still having some difficulty hitting off speed pitches.
