Question about Weather selection in Franchise and Quick Play! Please respond!

    Question about Weather selection in Franchise and Quick Play! Please respond!

    Hello all! I'm a long time player of The Show and havnt played the game on next gen, until this year with The Show 16!

    Quick question...

    Now when I go to play a Exhibition game/quick game I DON'T have the option to change the weather or the time of day.

    But upon starting a Franchise I noticed when I go to play a game it DOES give me the option to change the weather...

    My question is:

    A.) Why don't I have the option to change weather/time of day in Exhibition? Is it like that for everybody? Glitch? Normal?

    And B.) I thought I read somewhere that weather in Franchise/Season would be Random or actually correlate to real weather?

    Seems odd that it wouldn't be there on quick game but is on Franchise?

      You can change the weather in play now. Its one of the last things you can do after picking stadium. And while you have the option in Franchise. It should still randomize its self.

          Ah OK so that brings me to my next question then... I for some reason do not have the option... Where exactly is the "play now" mode just so we are talking the same thing?

              I think it depends on the rosters that you use for a quick game. If you use the 'live roster' it won't let you choose, but if you use the 'current roster' you are able to choose. I play every exhibition game using current roster and I can always choose the time of day. This might be a bug, not sure.

              And in franchise, when you go to the select screen they give you a weather setting at random, but you are able to change it if you wish.

                  Like I just went to quick play, and the only options I have after picking a stadium is quick counts, presentation and innings?!???

                      Much thanks for the replies I just figured that out with the rosters when you posted that... Wonder why it does that?

                      How do I download a copy of the live roster to use for current then?

                          Same here, I think it's either a bug or has something to do with the MLB live thing that sets it to the time of the actual game that day.

                          I don't think you could use live rosters like that. The best you could do is download the current roster update that comes out each week.

                              Dont choose Daily Rosters when you start. Use current and the option shows up.
