Defense Shifting To Opposite Of Pull.

I've noticed when I play as the Pirates each time I bat with Cervelli, the defense shifts to the wrong side. Has anyone else had this issue with any other righty pull hitters?

Look at his spray chart, I think that is why they shift that way.

Despite what the last poster said, I still think this is a bug, because even after setting the shift against him it still shifted back when he came to bat.

If you have defensive shifts to CPU or Auto, they will override your manual shifts.

Yeah, this happened on Millenium's marathon streams before release. I've been trying to find out if it's only cervelli or other players too.

Unless I am reading the spray chart wrong, the left side was all red. That means he pulls to the left or 3rd base side, right?

Guess it's time I man up and use manual shifts

That's fine for the user, but the real issue is the auto shifting direction. Which means the CPU teams do it as well when you're playing them.

That's why I'm concerned if the problem is not isolated to Cervelli. I do see plenty of correct shifts by the CPU, so it's a very case by case basis.
