    Warming Relievers

Playing in franchise today, my starter got injured while pitching. I was forced to replace him. The reliever had obviously not been warmed up, but it didn't seem to matter. I seem to recall in previous MLB versions there was some type of ratings penalty when a reliever entered without being fully warmed up. This makes me wonder if warming, or not warming, a reliever makes any difference this year?

I have the Warm Up Relievers setting turned Off, but I don't think that would make any difference.

For injuries they simulate the fact that the pitcher would get as many pitches as it takes to warm up but with that setting turned off it wouldn't matter one way or the other for you.

For normal reliever situations, what happens if you bring one in without warming him up? Is there a penalty of some sort? Ratings downgraded?

Stamina penalty, which I'm pretty sure decreases their effectiveness as well.

If you have warm up relievers turned off then I would presume that means there is no need to warm them up?
