I personally really like when the announcer audio flows nicely, so I was thinking on some higher profile 1st year players, I would use the dev players as stand-ins, and just edit everything about them to match up with the 1st year player. I try to match their ages as closely as possible.
As of right now I am using:
Charles Cruz as Byung-ho Park (both 29)
Kirby St. John as Kenta Maeda (both 27) <-- sacrilege in his eyes probably
I realize this idea may go kaput once OSFM drops, but I was thinking I may import some of the upper-tier prospects into this custom roster.
I was wondering if you guys could help me out on some other player ideas. I don't really know who & where all of the dev players are, but also remembering all of the 1st year players and matching their ages - between work and school this may be a real pain.
Any thoughts or ideas? Greatly appreciated!
