A totally revamped offseason. Renewing contracts should be a mass update kind of thing and way too many guys resign before hitting the open market (why wait?).

Adding international signings outside the draft would be awesome. Revamping the trade deadline to make it the spectacle that it's become would also set team building apart. I'd like to see contenders target needs more strategically like how the Indians got Miller. Maybe there's an option for seeking out trades like "fortify back of bullpen" or "right handed power bat" ... Etc.

Oh, and New Balance, Adidas, and tons of equip/gear!

Lots of pages and lots of unrealistic wishes here. I trust SD studios will put out a gane next year thats better than Mlb 16 (hard to fathom). My #1 wish is that they implement a replay/recording system postgame that FIFA has. Being able to rewatch all scoring plays from the same camera angle and announcers voices as it happenned in game. Replay just doesnt do justice. I want to be able to relive the moment exactly as I played it.

Offline Battle Royale Mode

I love everything about Battle Royale. But when my internet is lacking, I simply cannot play it without wasting 1,500 stubs. If we could get a Battle Royale Offline mode, that would allow us to draft a team, play other Battle Royale teams and get good rewards (Obviously not as highly rated rewards than Online Play).

Either use Computer Generated Battle Royale teams or and Extra Innings form of Offline teams when I play other people's BR teams and play against that players tendencies similar to Extra Innings.

Frame rate needs to be improved during fielding . Consistently drops under 60fps in many many stadiums. Almost all the other current sports games do a fine job in locking to 60 during gameplay

not sure you understand the concept of the term "wish."

Obviously they can't implement everything and some things are fairly unrealistic within the confines of current limitations (such as improvements by leaps and bounds in trade logic).

However there are lots of great ideas that they could implement, if not this year, then in future years. I wouldn't be so quick to rain on everyone's parade. Wanting the best game possible is natural and I for one think it's great that folks are thinking about what features and improvements are most important to them so that The Show developers can consider that in the development of the game for 2017

Here are a few things I am WISHING for in regards to MLB The Show 17.

* Stat overlay EVERY time a batter comes to the plate. Not just his first AB.

* NEW commentary team. OH boy this is needed!

* Better player models

* More focus on presentation/stats and franchise mode and less "fluff". (By fluff I mean Showtime, perks in RTTS etc)

* This is a BIG one for me. Switch up the "pre-game" portion of the presentation. Far too often they use a star from each team and have them standing side by side, holding a bat. (You guys know the part I am talking about) I wish they could have maybe 5-10 different pre game cut scenes. So that one doesn't become so stale.

* Need more animations between players/coaches

1. Expose the "+" difficulty levels. I would love to set my hitting difficulty level to "Veteran +" without using Dynamic Difficulty. I can handle Veteran but All-Star is a bit much for me at the moment.

2. A companion app for my phone/tablet .. where I can noodle with lineups, trades, league info, DD squad and market when I'm not at home.

3. Carry over previous year (MLB 15) Dynamic Difficulty. Kinda lame starting over at Rookie and building it back up. The first month of my year-to-year-saved franchise was a cake walk.

while we all probably agree there needs a new commentary team, they have mentioned in the show 16 streams that Vasgersion(not sure on the spelling) is not going any where. but the other guys im not too sure about.

Couple thoughts after finishing my second complete season in RTTS.
(Played every game, and every Fielding and Batting opportunity. Played on All-Star)

1. Progression is still way too fast. Was drafted as a B potential Shortstop, played about 6 months in the minors before being called up and have never been back.

Went from a Speedy Contact guy to 99 Rated All-Star in under 2 years of professional play.

Neither my Potential or Perception has changed since then, which is weird. Still perceived as "Young Talent" and Performance is "as expected" even though I won a Silver Slugger award and the AL Batting Title. Led the league in Triples and Stolen Bases (62).

2. Presentation. I know I'm beating a dead horse at this point, but after 2 full years playing every game, its even more apparent that the game is in dire need of some variety, with regards to commentary and presentation.

Hearing the same stats and canned lines coming to the plate and during every at-bat. Having to watch the pitcher slide replay every single time I am on-base. Same lines every at-bat about how I don't hit for as much power from the left side, or how I am hitting over .300 from the left. It's all so robotic, and just sounds like guys saying lines other than commentating an actual baseball game or having a conversation. I hear almost zero passion in any of the line readings. Big plays in playoff games, sound exactly like any other routine play during the regular season.

Speaking of robotic, the players are not much better. Stances, though unique, are very choppy, animations look cut and pasted together, feet slider more than any other year. Constant cuts in presentation are jarring, causing warping in and out of the batters box, and on the bases. Player models are all too chunky and box-like.

Players still show barely any emotion. I know there was supposed to be a new emotion system this year, but I rarely see it, even in big situations. And even when I do it only amounts to the same animation of my player pointing at the dugout.

3. Immersion, I feel, is at an all time-low this year. With all the cuts to game presentation, the skipping of the game up until your first play of the game, and the cuts to the Batters box animations, it feels like an arcade experience where I am being rushed to my next play as quickly as possible.

The Showtime system missed the mark massively. They had a chance to add a system that made your player unique while still retaining a sense of authenticity and realism, but it was implemented in the most arcade-like way possible, with guaranteed outcomes and perks that are just glorified cheats.

I don't feel like there is any kind of immersion whatsoever of being part of a team. I played for the Mariners for almost two full seasons, and I doubt I could name more than 4 or 5 of my teammates. And even the ones I could, I could tell you very little about their performance during the year or if they did anything of note. Plenty of times they would just disappear, and I wouldn't even notice that they had been moved to the DL with an injury. They all feel like lifeless robots who I hope don't screw up the double-play I start, or strand me at second base.

I feel like this is a big area ripe for exploration and improvement, but there doesn't seem to be any interest by the devs to do so.

Even simple things like email or texts from teammates, would be an improvement, and would require very little development time. Obviously that could be expanded on with responses and even integrated with the new morale system that's been implemeted in Franchise.

There doesn't have to be a huge, deep RPG system, but any kind of immersion helps.



Well, those are my thoughts mainly on RTTS following my second season of play. I most likely will pack it in for the year, and start season 3 next year. Hopefully with a much improved RTTS experience.

If they made this work with the VR as if I was actually hitting and pitching at Wrigley Field, I would quit my job and divorce my wife so that I could play this nonstop.

More tracked records. Baseball keeps stats for everything, therefore they have all-time records for everything. I would love Team(season/all-time), individual AL/NL, and postseason records in addition to more MLB records. Also situational stats/records would be pretty cool. i.e. Leadoff home runs, walk off hits/hrs, and grand slams.

These are not in most important order first, But hopefully all get looked into and not ignored.

PLAYER MODELS ARE MY #1 REQUEST. No matter how great you get everything else looking (stadiums etc) without the players getting a major overhaul the player just don't look like they fit in, when all other areas of the game look great. The PBR was a great addition and brought out more detail around the stadiums, but we really need major changes on the player models. I am not a basketball guy but played NBA 2K16, FIFA and MADDEN 16 AND SOME other RPG games the player models on all these games look next gen and most of the players on MLB THE SHOW look dull looking to me sorry but just an honest opinion. On MLB 16 all the players skins look like clay and all of the players had these weird demonic looking eyes, is there anyway to have the skin texture and skin tones like the other games they look clear and life like with a shiny glossy finish to them, want to see life like facial expressions you see in these other games on there player models.

* PLEASE BRING BACK FULL BROADCAST PRESENTATION ONLINE FOR THE ONLINE FRANCHISE!!

* PLEASE ADD SERVICE TIME EDIT OPTION IN THE PLAYER EDIT SCREEN PREFERABLY ON THE FIRST PAGE MAYBE UNDER THE PLAYERS LOCATION.

I have an idea how the positions can be given for any fielder. You have all the positions in a big square pop up screen and you let us check the squares of all the positions we want to give that player. This would allow us to finally give players the correct positions they actually play.

1. We need full editing capabilities offline and in the online franchise (ESPECIALLY IN THE ROSTER AREA IN THE MAIN MENU) such as being able to edit players names, ages, height and weight, jersey numbers, changing there position to anything we want. In the online franchise only letting the commissioner be the only person who can adjust any players attributes.

2. We need the ability to export and import players into MLB 17 that were on previous MLB THE SHOW GAMES, this I mean real actual MLB players not the created ones as we are already able to do this with those. This has been an issue when accidentally a real MLB player has been imported over and no way to get him back other than recreated them.

Would like to see in MLB 17 all players on this game available to export and import anyone of them. Also let us edit anything we want about any player on the game. I know SCEA developers enjoy putting themselves into the game at launch so why not let us export these players and be able to edit anything about them so we can change them into any MLB players missing from the game that might look close to the developers face?

This would really help creating missing minor league players as well. As a roster creator myself one of the hardest faces to do are the ASIAN/JAPAN faces and I know there have been some Asian/japan developer faces added to the game in recent years this would allow us to turn that developer face into a real MLB player and have a better looking roster with all scan faces. Another idea is make it to where we can use other MLB players FACES and turn them into a player were creating or missing from the game.

(b) I would like to see the graphs removed and the extra stuff to make the faces put to rest and just give us pages and pages of players to pick from kinda like NHL or MADDEN does. I spend hours and hours trying to get a players face right and if I just had to pick from a face form any of those pages would make the process be so much faster. I spend more time editing players than playing the game and would like a easier way to get the players face done and move on.

3. Would like to see player profile pictures change based off of ESPN, fox sports or mlb.com player profile picture. This way when in real life there traded there photo will change for that team, as in real life usually these websites have the players photo updates within 24 hrs. This would work for people who don't keep rosters updated but many of us who enjoy doing this it would look realistic.

4. We need WEATHER added. Weather is a big part of baseball. Would like to see it automatically change in the game as if its cold see the fog from players mouth when breathing, have dirt look wet from rain, and some type fog rain delays. Maybe tie in weather.com into the game and whatever city the home team is in is the actual weather for that day? If a game starts cloudy then later on as game goes along just let it start raining on its own. The weather should effect the pitchers command and the batters swings as it does in real life.

(b) To see rain drops on helmet, coaches jackets, umpires jackets would bring more realism to the game. I would love to see how a partly cloudy game started and all the sudden maybe in the 5th or 6th inning it started rumbling, lightning on its own and started to rain instead of having to pick rain at the start of a game.

5. Please put back on the players card there jersey number, on previous show games all you had to do was bring up the players card and his jersey number was on it in MLB 16 it was removed and never brought back in patches when asked.

6. VERY IMPORTANT! Please bring back when your playing online especially in online franchise games human vs. human that we see exactly the same thing on our screen as there seeing on there's. In MLB 14 & MLB 15 the animations were completely off as I played several games with a good friend and we never seen the same thing on his or my TV screen. In MLB 11,12, and 13 this worked like it should please bring it back.

7. When creating a player the name input should allow us to create these long names now in baseball. The number for last names at least should be 15 letters.

(b) Add in rookies names into the database each year from who was added during the roster updates the year before.

8. I have asked for this for a few years now but can you please add API (CATCHER CALL) as an option for human vs human games? It's currently is there for human vs CPU now but would like to be able to use this in head to head games as well. Maybe add Inside edge to the Cather's call based off the past 3 seasons.

(b) I have to use shareplay to play a friend on MLB THE SHOW since there's no presentation online in the online franchise and when we do this we can't pitch from behind the pitcher would be nice if you allowed for this to be used pitching from behind the pitcher (broadcast) in head 2 head games offline.

9. In the online franchise would like to to see the actual real MLB schedule including real off days. In MLB 14 & MLB 15 the MLB schedule was added but the days and dates did not match up. Would like to see actual game start times included and maybe added on the schedule screen withing the square for that date. What about adding additional year schedules for people who like to use previous seasons or historic rosters?

10. The online franchise needs the 40 man roster added, player options added, waiver wire and the rule 5 draft in June. I would like to finally see a true online franchise with the same exact features offline has and really hope the scoreboards work online this year along with hopefully an option to turn broadcast on or off not just be stuck with only FAST PLAY.

11. SLIDERS - We need a catcher throw speed and maybe accuracy of there throw slider. Same goes for arm strength slider needs to be separate slider for infield, outfield and catcher arm strength and a separate reaction slider for infield, outfield and catcher.

12. We need a complete transaction log for the online franchise. In MLB 14 - MLB 16 the only transaction that would show in the event log was when a player you traded or you signed a free agent or released a player. To help the commissioner a full transaction log would help prevent league owners from sending guys down or calling guys up on a daily basis without the commissioner knowing or approval. The full transaction log would keep things honest.

13. The commissioner for online franchises need more flexibility when it comes to fixing teams in the online franchise when you happen to get a bad owner who decides to release players into the free agency and quits league. In MLB 15 & MLB 16 there were some bad owners in leagues that did this leaving the commissioner noway fixing and getting team back to its original state. With salary cap issues, amount of money to spend to sign players etc made it really tough to sign the players released back. Maybe give the commissioner only a way to over ride transactions, signing players back at no cost?

14. We need to be able to see the player card of players were placing into our lineup to see what there backup positions are this is at the beginning of a game like online, online franchise etc...all head to head games.

15. COLLISIONS? There were many injuries last year due to collisions. When asked before about having this added I think I was told baseball not a contact sport? Injuries do happen in baseball and when players collide. In another baseball game in 2007 there was an option to call of the other fielders near.

16. Broadcast Mode in Online Leagues. Please add back the BROADCAST mode online I love this game as many other on-liners do and I want to see all the presentation this game has to offer without having to just play offline. Give us some kind of option for individuals who don't want the presentation and they can skip through it. I only play this game online. I was forced to play offline franchise using shareplay with friends last year and was very annoying as u only get to play 59 minutes before shareplay times out. I do not play road to the show, diamond dynasty etc. and prefer to play online and want to see all the presentation I get offline when I play in a online franchise.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
(a) Able to Export & Import real players onto any roster.
(b) Able to edit service time, age, height and weight on real players.
(c) Able to add service time on edit player screen.
* No more yellow bars on edit player screen. Can you please make it numbers like the rest of the options?

* Please add more hair styles and options to have light brown or blonde hair, medium dark brown and medium blonde, Dark brown and blonde etc? same needs to be added for eyebrow and facial hair colors.

* It's time for a way to keep players on MLB level photos updated, either Photoshop or link them with each player having a photo ID to a sports website like mlb.com, ESPN, fox sports etc so when a player gets traded, signed etc his new player photo will be for that team. mlb.com usually has this updated instantly and we finally need this on MLB 16.

** Websites like mlb.com, ESPN, fox-sports keeps players updated on the fly. If there is someway to be able to link the real MLB 17 players to one of these websites there photo would update automatically. For the people like myself who enjoy keeping there rosters updated to real life this would be huge. For people who don't care or do drafts then it wouldn't affect them or there roster.

This is a follow-up to your previous request "MLB THE SHOW 17 WISHLIST"

Would really like to see real life game footage when the game starts like older games use to have, really got you excited to play those games then seeing all the moments of the year before play as games loading.

Another request is please add all the things offline franchise has to the online we need all those option online, but the main thing is please add broadcast back to the online franchise as an option, not asking for rank matches just in the online franchise and anyone who doesn't like it or doesn't have time then just hit the X button or hold X like madden 17 has and skip the presentation.

I love playing this game as I prefer this sport over madden or anything else and as other games are looking so much crisp, clearer and like a next gen game will you be able to get the show to look like some of the other sports games? The issues I have is with the grass looks like carpet doesn't look like real grass at all, need to see in replays at least how the grass is cut or standing.

The real big thing for me is player models look so stale looking like clay there is no real skin tones or texture to me. There are no facial expressions and the eyes look horrible as everyone I've asked agrees that MLB 16 players had demonic eyes.
