the logic the A.I. employs in handing out uniform numbers is beyond the pale.
    playing a Yankees-Blue Jays game today, had a #99 pitching to a #99.
and this wasn't even some spring training scrubs trying to make the cut.
that , I could almost understand

maybe I missed something entirely but I thought the point of the last few ''complaints'' were tongue-in-cheek.

At risk of sound condescending....maybe you're the one who didn't get the point of the thread? It's sort of a parody of the common complaints people make about The Show, but applied to the real MLB games going on. Anyway, I dont mean to be disrespectful....just didn't know what you were referring too since all the last few posts have been pretty on point....and you'd be far from the first one to miss some of the subtle humor in this thread.

Back on topic: the new pinpoint pitching mechanic really is challenging, I was struggling to throw strikes with Kyle Hendricks yesterday and he has some of the best control in the game.

They STILL didn't fix baserunning this year, and it's getting even more ridiculous this year because they have this new "HR robbing mechanic" or whatever...
Playing with the dodgers, I hit a flyball to left field. The Leftfielder leaps, catches the ball, but it goes out of the glove over the fence. I thought he caught it, so i send my runner on first, who was rounding second, back to first base. BUT my hitter Bellinger was already around first base. So when I sent my baserunner back, this lead to my hitter being out because HE RAN PAST A TEAMMATE???

                  why cant they fix baserunning.....

The trade logic still needs to be fixed.. Would you believe, it actually let me trade for Arenado for 5 mid to low level prospects and on top of that the Rockies paid me an additional 50mil to take him!

I think the Studio is just a little too cozy with the Padres, considering their proximity.
they no-hit me yesterday, and any fool knows the Padres don't toss no-no's.

This one's a little dated, but also wasn't really possible until now:

"WTF were the devs thinking putting a monstrosity like THIS into Stadium Creator?? Bet they end up removing it in a few years once their data shows no one ever used it. "

I'm sorry but we do NOT walk pitchers with the bases loaded, especially pitchers with huge 6'4'' strike zones
and doubley especially not in close ball games

and this is killing the narrative for needing a DH in the NL
no sir, this will not do.

Last night Matty V. glitched out and said Joc Pederson instead of Kris Bryant when he popped out on Sunday Night Baseball.

If The Show did that, man... heads b rollin'!

Playing as the Rockies, down 2 - 1 at Coors (unrealistic score for that Stadium, but I digress), ground ball back to the visiting pitcher and he practically rolls it to the first baseman...and it still beats the runner!?

                                more no-hitter nonsense, part deuce:
the official scoring is totally off the rails. I got credit for a shutout & a complete game but not a no-hitter... even though I DID IN FACT throw a no-no. this is 100% the Sony Commissioner's screwup. the investors need to give him a vote of no-confidence. I wonder if they can't get either Hideo Kojima or Hideo Nomo to run their outfit - Arizona D'Bags
