SMH, the baserunners in this game are so bad! It was the bottom of the 9th and of course the comeback code embedded in this stupid game came into full effect as I blew a save in the top of the 9th (after no hitting them just the game prior!). And, oh look at that, I have an easy steal and the game just screws me -- and this was after I got picked off 3rd with two outs an inning prior when I wasn't even trying to steal home!

D'backs after losing in extra innings last night:
No way, man. This BS is BoguS. I'm playing with universal DH to put me on even footing with AL teams, but I still wind up with no choice but to let a reliever bat while down to my last out in extra innings? All I have ever heard was there is no strategy involved with the AL DH rule, that the real strategery was in the NL, when there was no universal DH. But this DH thing is too complicated, I can't turn it off once my franchise starts? I had homefield advantage, if I had been able to have DH's toggled ´´OFF´´, the Yankees would have to had their pitchers bat too. Bogus, man.

Haha, the at-bat in question if anyone missed it from an absolutely wild extra innings game:

Had a crazy game with the cardinals vs the marlins. Way too many bunts! Marlins had their 4 hole hitter bunt for a base hit two at bats in a row. Like wtf! And then don’t even get me started on the comeback code. They basically gave me the game.

They really need to tone down the comeback logic. Every time I play the Mets things are going smooth and then in the 8th or 9th inning they hit a go ahead home run

Lineup construction still flawed. All this hype about revamped logic, I played against the Yankees and they had their CATCHER as the lead off batter. If I see the Dodgers with a pitcher batting leadoff, I'm out. Can't do this no more.

I tossed the disc in the dishwasher when I saw that the Jays had their 2B, who had a .298 OBP and .340 slugging % last year hitting in the CLEAN UP SPOT!?!?!?!?! WTH SDS?!?!?!

Man, I'm glad this thread popped up...Noon on a Friday...Baseball is back...Rockies "Shock the World!" tour starting in a few hours...and I have zero desire to accomplish anything else at work...

New goal for this afternoon: Read back through this thread, because I remember having a ton of laughs through the 71(!!!) pages that are here.

I was playing the Angels yesterday and I plunked Mike Trout square in the hand. His durability rating is too high. IRL if that had happened, Trout would have been out six weeks.

Beginner difficulty game being played in the Bronx right now between the Yanks and Brewers.

Good to see the thread back. Glad I'm not the only one still thinking about this stuff as I watch the real games
