How do I hit AND pitch for the same team in Franchise mode?

    Hi,
I cannot figure out how I did it. I set up the franchise. I made me as part of the rotation and my twin brother as a hitter. I want to pitch for my turn but hit for him at least..or the whole team for that game. When I played the 1st game..it worked just like I wanted, but did not pay attention to how it was setup. Since then I can either pitch OR hit but not both. Can anyone help me set this up please? Have no idea what I did or how to do it now.
    TY

Did you use the player lock option? You can set it in your line up and switch while in the game.

Yeah the only thing I can think of is that you have player lock on. The default for franchise is that you play as one team on both sides of the ball

        Hi,
I had player lock on my hitter. But nothing should have changed between 1sr game and the others. I will try it again...figured that had something to do with it. But I did try it on the pitcher, which let me pitch but no hit....will try now..

I have never done player lock and I don't want to over simplify it but you are sure the games you are trying this on is a day your created pitcher is starting?
