Check Swing glitch?

I still have not had an umpire say a batter went around on a check swing.. I've played over 50 games for sure, and still haven't seen an ump say the batter went. Very frustrating.

I've definitely had check swing strikes, but it is far less often. I think this is a good change.

I haven't had one called for a strike either with about 15 games played

I've had check swing strikes, but not with an umpire on-screen calling it. Think that might be what the OP is referencing here.

Scene or not, it doesn't matter to me as long as they're still being called.

I've had first and third base umpires call strikes on screen. Like I said, it's usually no swing, but I have definitely had them show the umpire at 1st or 3rd calling a strike.

That's cool then. I definitely agree that they've been toned down (because it's been a pretty common complaint from people over the past few years).

I also don't check swing as much as I used to because I don't flinch at pitches outside the zone as often.

Yeah, I've seen check swing strikes be called by 1st or 3rd base umpire. But it is far less than it has been in the past.

I'm seeing lot's of check swings called, but the actual checking of the swing is busted this year.

I am seeing players take a full hack, and then bring back the bat, and pretend like they checked. It looks hilarious.

In addition to the regular check swing strike calls I've had at least one appeal to the ump called a strike so far

I have that glitch too. Still haven't had a check swing appeal called for a strike. I was hoping it would get toned down, but I've played so many games, online and offline without seeing an appeal called for a strike.

Some people were asking about actually seeing the home plate ump ask for help from the 1st or 3rd base umps to call a check swing. Regarding that, is seeing that in game dependent on the presentation style you select? There is the quick, hybrid, and full styles.

I have mine on hybrid, and I have not once seen the ump ask 1st or 3rd for help. I've played probably 150 innings so far.

Maybe it is dependent on presentation style as I use broadcast (though I skip a lot of scenes) and have seen the home plate ump ask a base ump about check swings many times, which is what my previous comment was referring to.

I believe this is a bug. No doubt. Bad animation/choppy. I see it all the time on check swing strikes (batter view)

I hope the team is aware of this glitch. I have had appeals though. But this graphical/animation glitch looks like a bad bug that can be fixed in a patch (I hope).

I hope you loaded this video into the bug report. It would help immensely in getting it addressed.
