CPU pitcher goes on strike mid-game

This has happened to me 3 or 4 times and it's very annoying. It usually occurs in RTTS and in the late innings usually, my last at bat of the game. I wait for the first pitch of the at bat, and wait. The pitcher flat out refuses to throw the ball. So I have two options, shut the game down and close application or simulate the rest of the game. Has this happened to anyone else and is 2K aware of this problem at all?

Have you tried calling time at the plate? I've heard that works for some people. Just press down on the directional pad when you're in the batter's box.

P.S.

2K doesn't make The Show, but SCEA is aware of the issue and it'll hopefully be addressed in an upcoming patch. [emoji4]

I've had the same issue and I just have to sim that at bat and pick it up on the next go round.

Haven't seen it this year, but in the past I would just step out of the box and that would fix it.

I've had it happen in years past, but not this year so far, thankfully. There never seemed to be a solution. Pausing didn't help. All I could do was sim to the end.

Happened to me last night, in the deciding game of the world series no less. I tried to step out of the box but the pitcher refused to pitch for me.

Glad SCEA is aware of the issue cause it's maddening when this happens in an important game.
