2014 vs. 2016 need some advice....

I really like 2014. I get a good variety of games. I'd say I have just about a perfect set of sliders for me(but it took alo of testing to get there) and get really realistic games.

The main issues I have now are:

    Outdated Rosters
    REALLY Really stale commentary
Sim stat engine is just a little off so even though I get realistic strikeout and walk ratios while batting, I still end up with too many walks and not enough strikeouts compared to other teams in the overall team categories.

I play with quick counts on but I do watch the guys walk up to the plate and watch the replays.

Anyway, first question would be does MLB 16 play close to MLB 14 so I won't have spend a ton of time slider tweaking. IE have the sliders remained consistent.

Are all the controls pretty much the same.

Second question does MLB 16 do things considerably better than 14 or is I a mixed bag?

I play Franchise and play now games not RTTS.

Thanks, the Time is more important to me than the money. I just don't want to have to spend a ton of time tweaking sliders or learning new controls. But I also want the best baseball experience out there.

I personally think that, even right now before major patches, 16 is the best version I've played (I started with 09). When my biggest complaint is a UI flaw, I'd say it's a darn good game.

Because I'm in Canada the game cost me $90.60 including tax, for the standard version. And I think it was worth it, in case that tells you anything.

One definite improvement is the loading time, I could grow a damned beard waiting for a game in 14.
