Really Confused.
I have set the Franchise up to Play as the Nats (with a profile "Nats") and have assigned the other 29 teams with the profile "Others" BUT all I am getting is the Baltimore Orioles Front page ???
It wont let me shuffle between teams (for instance on the Orioles page theres a R/dongle pad icon, the R is not flicking through the MLB (just the bloody AAA-AA of Baltimore?)

I have done some test simming/day simming (since I am bloody stuck on the Orioles front page) but I am also not getting ANY injuries from ANY of the games I am simming?? (I have selected injuries as ON?)
Any help?

I put the cpu profile for lineups/rotations to manual and I went around the league and did the lineups for all the cpu teams but if I leave it on manual will the cpu shuffle their lineups at all? Like based on fatigue or hot streaks or something? Do most of you all have that setting on auto or manual?

That is the odd part, just leave those toggles as they are in game, just make sure you have those things set up in the mode specific tab for the cpu. Even though it says manual on the team screen for line ups and rosters as long as you have those things set to auto on the profile it works. There are a few posts in here referencing that also and it works in my franchise also so I know it works.

If cpu roster control is on on the screen that you are setting up your franchise you will not get any injuries and you cant change it once you start your franchise. I made the same mistake, had to start over. It is a screen or two into setting up your franchise.

Again, very odd. In 17 I could set favorite team, but in the end because I control so much of each it starts on the O's. But to move from team to team I'm using the right or left trigger (not the Right stick, which during the season runs through the AAA and AA teams of the selected club). Someone else explained the injury thing which I haven't had in a long time but was and still seems to be an issue

My question is this when you look at the score boards in the stadium is not working at all is there a way to fix that, b/c i figure out how to control all 30 teams and just wonder??

Yes.

got to the calender. Click on "View Today's Games" It will show all the MLB games for that day.

Sim each game, except the game for your team that you want to play.

Now, when you play your game, the stadium scoreboard will show results as if all they were in progress, unless the game finished before your game started (the game was a 1:00pm start, and your game was 7:00pm, the game will show a final score) or your game started before the other game started (your game starts at 1:00pm, the other game starts at 7:00pm, it will show no results)

Once the season has started can I turn line up and rotation control to auto for the other 29 teams or will that cause problems?

No you should be able to do this without issue. I'm on 17 and I hope it works the same in 18 as all the previous years.
I actually controlled the lineups in preseason this year to make determinations for sending down and calling up; when the season starts I will give lineup/rotation control to the CPU, keep trades to manual, then as I near the trade deadline let the CPU start offering trades (since I carried over from 14 to 17 apparently I don't have instant trades, which sucks for those who want to control it all in 17 and 18). Finally near the end of August I like to take control of the rosters and injuries of the CPU teams to increase the number of possible playoff eligible players and roster moves for a final playoff push. You should be able to adjust settings during the year to get the play you want out of the game. good luck.
