    Pure Analog hitting with stride

Does anyone know if stride timing is still in play when using pure analog hitting?

It doesn't seem to me like it has any effect anymore, and I noticed that there is no longer a slider for stride, just wondering if anyone knows anything definitively.

Purely decoration although I'm sure it was mentioned that they may try to patch in the old system sometime in the future.

Oh ok, that would be nice.

I've realized now that I'm fully back in the swing of things with striding, that aiming for a near perfect stride is still something I do subconsciously.

Which makes sense.. Probably had about a million reps on the old system, and it would great to start getting that perfect timing boost again.

I kind of like not having to time the stride to a certain pitcher animation. It never really made much sense anyways, having the same timing animation for a guy that throws in the high 90's and one that throws 88.

Now I am free to start my Stride slightly early or late, and am not penalized when I am actually timing the ball far better.

          This.

While I have loved pure analog when they first introduced it, I always kind of hated having to time my stride. I would always wind up trying to get a perfect stride instead of concentrating on the pitch. If they put it back in, that's fine, but I like not having it. I still get to indulge in the old striding habit, but not having to worry about it being perfect.

I just like having control over the actual stride, I find it distracting and my timing gets really weird when I see my batter start his stride way before I ever would.
