Matte helmets

Do you guys know if there are any rumblings of the LAD new matte helmet being patched into the game?

They are truly beautiful!

Would love to see them in this game!

Along with all the other teams that have added matte helmets as well... We can only hope!!!! It's possible, but will they do it????

Ramone was asked about the Giants new matte helmets he just said MLB The Show 17. So doubt any team gets patched in this year. SCEA never patches in uniform stuff

If history means anything they won't. I would love for them to do it though. Like EA did with their last NCAA Football game b

I wonder if the matte look is a physical element or just based off PBR. It'd be nice if for future versions, they could leave that part patchable for when more teams decide to go matte. But it wouldn't be a problem if teams didn't just show up on opening day with them with no prior mention. At this rate I'd take bets on the next team to join the bandwagon, my money is on Milwaukee or LAA.

In real life, Dodgers, Giants and Rockies as well.

I would venture a guess that all teams will eventually have them. Seems like the trend.

Pretty sure it's impossible for them to patch art related items in post release but since more teams are using matte helmets, I'm sure we'll likely see them as an option for MLB 17

i am playing as A's and looking for national league team to play and i was looking at teams matte helmets but damn i can't stand pitt,sd,az unis lol
i was hoping they have one for LAD

The Matte Helmets definitely look awesome, almost made me play as the Padres. However having that All-Star Patch on every year was a deal breaker.


I must say though, the glossy feel of the regular helmets, especially in the lights at night.
