3 second batter timeout

I vaguely remember in the first stream, I believe, they mentioned a way to prevent the pitcher from pitching the ball for about 3 seconds. The manual doesn't go over this feature, though.

Anyways, I faced someone in Diamond Dynasty who prevented me from pitching on my own account about 95% of the time. I'm using meter pitching and can't begin to pitch the ball until my opponent releases whatever he's doing. I need to tap X several times so I know when I'm able to pitch the ball.

I'm not going to use a crutch like this myself but anyone know how to cause this delay when batting?

I wonder if you hold R2 so as to check out what Pitch Types the pitcher has?

He could be looking at my pitcher types but it was just about every single pitch.

He was calling time too but was also able to prevent me from pitching on my own account.

He was also very stubborn on the mound. He would not let me take a one step lead. We had a six hour game, lol.

This is your answer. Hold R2 to prevent the pitcher from quick-pitching.

Yep R2. Hold it down after 3 seconds it disappears and then the pitcher is able to pitch again.

Whats wrong with quick pitching? If I'm playing a game I would prefer to play it as quick as possible opposed to prolonging for no good reason.

Lol. Guaranteed he has never played real Baseball in his life, and if that's the case that question isn't even worth answering. SMH. This is why no one likes play now. Please give OF an overhaul next yr so us people that only plays OF don't have to deal with these types of players ever again. Lol

I played baseball for 15 years and still want to get some games done as quickly as possible.

I know you guys are making light of this but it wasn't a very pleasurable experience.

Lo and behold it looks like another user on theshownation complained about the same user! Looks like it took them 50 minutes to play just 4 innings.

If anything, the stubbornness on the mound should be alleviated. One could essentially attempt pickoffs all day long if they wanted to.
