Can you edit a player's attributes in RTTS mode?

I am playing a pitcher in MLB: The Show (16) in RTTS mode, and I think it is crazy that my pitcher's speed is basically zero. I assume that is one reason it takes him forever to cover first base. I'd like to edit his speed, but not sure I can do that in RTTS mode - is it possible?

    Thanks

No. You can only edit the roster which your RTTS is based off of before you start it.

    Talking about things nobody cares.

But you can put training points into speed, if you're taking about your player. If you're taking about your teammates, then no. Some pitchers react a little slower than others. And they'll react differently pitch to pitch and game to game as well.
