Even though it was against me, I thought it was finally a tick towards reality. I've hit shins, ankles, knees, chests, shoulders, arms, and ribs for years. When that notification came up that Cashner was trying to walk it off but couldn't, this game got another nod of approval from me.

Pitcher KO'd. I finally saw it!
It took years of playing MLB The Show, but it finally happened last night. In the 5th inning of a 13-1 blowout by the Pads, Cashner got hit and had to be pulled. LOVE IT.

I've never seen somebody so pleased that their pitcher got knocked out and had to be taken out of the game...
Was this franchise? Did he have a corresponding injury after the game? -
Re: Pitcher KO'd. I finally saw it!
Just a single game. Brought in Perdomo, who arrived with 8 warm-ups absolutely cold. Not sure if that changes when play continues or not since RPs get all the time to warm-up after an injury.
Was easier to handle up 12 runs at the time. Was close to just fast forwarding, but glad I didn't.Comment

They should come in warm to emulate what you just mentioned, imo."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

I had it happen to Jason Hammel in the fourth inning of his first start this year. 6+ month head injury. He'll never play for me again.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment

Well, it was actually mostly serious. He'll be a free agent and I was likely to let him walk anyways, but now that he's regressing like crazy due to the injury, its a done deal. Unfortunate that he'll miss almost the whole season while I pay him 9 million.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment
