How are they working? Do you chose when to close the roofs. If not how often are the closed?

In franchise you choose whether to close them or keep them open. In RTTS you can't choose and it does it on its own but I think there's a good balance of when it is open and when it is closed.

Terrible. I can't get the Trop to open at all.
And last week the roof on Marlins Park got stuck halfway through closing.
Rained out the whole series and ruined that beautiful masterpiece in centerfield as they coudn't get the damn thing unstuck.
I'd say the Kingdome is the only one not to have any problems.

Is it the same if you play just season instead of franchise?

I think it's only cosmetic in Franchise. The temperature is still 35 degrees at Miller Park with the roof closed.

in franchise mode the roof will be closed during games that are below or past a certain temperature, or if there is raain it will be closed. It also gives you the option to choose for yourself as well.
