Workaround for Keeping Current Rosters in Franchise?

So, I like to play with 30 team control and mimic real life roster transactions. My question in Show16 is: is there a way to release a guy from a roster without taking the hit against a budget with releasing a guy? I already turn budgets off, so its not a huge deal, but I can see it being an issue going forward after a couple seasons. Is there a way to turn contracts off completely or something like that?

    What do you guys do?

    TIA

You can't release a guy in franchise mode without it having some impact on the budgets. And no, you cannot turn off contracts.

The only way to do something like this would be manage the roster prior to starting up franchise mode.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
