How to equpit sunglasses in RTTS

For some reason I cant choose sunglasses for my rtts player only regular glasses how do I do this this year?

You have to acquire the card for a specific pair on sunglasses. You can't edit the style of the default equipment this year.

Much as I adore this game, it's little decisions like this that baffle me.

I understand the need or desire to introduce more RPG type elements to RTTS but sunglasses? I've always had my SP wearing shades. I guess it's something to work towards, but even a standard or limited set of shades would make sense and then unlock the more high end stuff.

Pales into insignificance compared to the ball halo issue though.

You can just use the randomize feature and keep spamming it until you get something you like. It might take a few attempts to find the right one but is doable.

Hmm, I tried that about 10 or 12 times and nothing happened, maybe I need to try it for longer.
