Franchise Patch Question

Hey guys. With the OSFM rosters now released (thanks to everyone who worked on them...GREAT job as always!) I was hoping to start my franchise. My question is if I start a franchise before the next patch is released will the patch work on that franchise, or will I have to start from stratch in order for the fixes to take effect? I don't mind waiting on the patch, I just don't want to get invested in a franchise and then realize that the patch doesn't apply to "pre-existing franchises". Any help on this question would be appreciated, thanks guys.

Patches have worked for existing franchises in the past.

OFSM V2 already been released plus a V2.2. Not only that, Ridin has put out a OSFM V2.5 as well last night. Check the boards buddy. How are you missing them?
