    Batters' ratings

I'm curious about the con and pwr ratings for a hitter when he comes to the plate. It never matches what his player card says when out of a game in the roster menu. Can someone explain this?

Seems to be the impact of coaching.

For example, Billy Burns is 77/33 vs RHP and in game he's 79/35. My coaches combined give a +2 contact and +2 power modifier (adding up all their modifiers since it seems all of them apply from all the coaches). Coach modifiers don't appear show up on the player profiles out of the game.

Finnegan, my starter, has 50 BB/9, but Weiss is -3 BB/9 and I have another -1 from a coach, and there's a -1 somewhere else it seems because he's 5 down in-game at 45. He does have a +1 BB/9 when I look at him in the roster and +1 H/9, too, but in game those are not showing. Perhaps those are morale effects and they don't show on the in-game ratings?

Probably a combination of coaches and morale. I have a relief pitcher whose in game h/9 is 8 points lower than on the manage roster screen. Coaching doesn't account for that much of a drop and some pitchers have no change.
